Sizes, extras and add-ons
Updated October 2026
Short answer
Give one item choices like Small/Large or Chicken/Beef, each with its own extra price. Customers tick what they want and the total adds up by itself. No more pricing in the DMs.
Instead of listing "Jollof small", "Jollof large" and "Jollof large with chicken" as separate items, make one item with options.
- 1
Open the item in Shop
- 2
Add an option group
Give it a name, like Size, Protein or Extras.
- 3
Choose how many they can pick
Pick one (like a size), Pick as many as you like (like extras), or a limit like Up to 3.
- 4
Required or optional?
Required means they must choose before ordering, like a size. Optional means they can skip it, like extras.
- 5
Add each choice with its extra price
For example Large +₦1,500, Chicken +₦2,000, Plantain +₦500. A choice that costs nothing extra is fine too.

Example: What the customer pays
- Jollof rice
- ₦3,500
- Large
- + ₦1,500
- Chicken
- + ₦2,000
- Plantain
- + ₦500
- Total
- ₦7,500
Your page shows the starting price, and the full price range when options change it. You see every choice the customer picked on the order in Sales.
If you import a menu that lists sizes, Zova turns them into options for you.
