Get the verified business badge

Both a business name registration (BN) and a limited company (RC) count. Once verified, your page shows that you're a registered business, with your registered name.

   Tap More, then Settings, then Verify your business

   Type your registered business name

   Exactly as CAC has it, not your shop name. They're often different, and this is the most common reason a check fails.

   Type your registration number

   Whatever is on your certificate, like BN 1234567 or RC 1234567 (IT for trustees).

   Upload your CAC certificate

   A photo or PDF, under 8MB. Tap Check what you sent to make sure you picked the right file and the numbers are readable.

   Tap Send for checking

   The page says We're checking it. A person checks it against the CAC register, which takes a day or two. You get a WhatsApp message either way.

If it's not approved

The page shows We couldn't verify that with the reason. Fix it and send it again on the same page.

What happens to your certificate

• It's deleted as soon as the check is done, approved or not.
• Zova keeps only your registered name and number. Both are already public record.
• Zova never asks for your NIN, passport or driver's licence. Don't send one.
