Set up payouts so you get paid
Updated October 2026
Short answer
Go to More → Payout & plan. Confirm your email, verify your ID (your NIN and a photo of your ID), then confirm your bank account on our payment partner's secure page. It takes about 5 minutes.
Until you finish this, customers can't pay you. Do it right after you go live.
Step 1: confirm your email
Your email is how you get back into the account that holds your money if you lose your phone, so Zova checks it's really yours first.
- 1
Open Payout & plan
Tap More, then under Money tap Payout & plan.
- 2
Type your email and your Zova password
Then tap Send verification link.
- 3
Open the email from Zova
Tap the link inside. Can't find it? Check your spam folder.
- 4
Come back to Zova
The page updates by itself once you've opened the link. Typed the wrong email? Tap Use another email.
Step 2: verify your ID
Every seller is ID-checked. Have your NIN and your ID card (or NIN slip, driver's licence, voter's card or passport) ready.
- 1
Type your name exactly as on your ID
A different spelling is the usual reason an ID is refused.
- 2
Add your date of birth and NIN
- 3
Take a photo of your ID
Flat, in good light, all four corners showing. Add the back too if it has one.
- 4
Tap Send for checking
It goes straight to our payment partner, Bachs. Zova doesn't keep your NIN or the photo.
Step 3: confirm your bank account
- 1
Tap Open secure page
Bachs' page opens in a new tab.
- 2
Confirm your name and bank account
The account must be in the same name as your ID.
- 3
Come back to Zova
The page moves on by itself. Once your ID and bank are checked you'll see You're set up to get paid.
Step 4: choose when you get paid
- Once a day at 10pm (the default). One ₦50 payout fee on days you sell.
- After each sale, within minutes. ₦50 per transfer; sales close together share one.
The ₦50 is charged by Bachs, not Zova. You can switch any time on Payout & plan.
Already selling on Zova from before? You can keep taking payments while you do this. Branches don't need it at all: they're paid with your main shop.
